Automate the issuance of permits for road works.

Solution

The person responsible for issuing the permit receives e-mail requests for road works. Upon receipt of the request, the employee checks, in several special-purposed systems, whether a permit is possible, whether road works will cause traffic jams, at what time it is possible to permit road works. After that, the employee either requests additional information, or rejects the request, or issues permit.

Result

Manual work was 80% replaced by a robot. Insignificant involvement of company employees is necessary only in cases requiring special checks. The solution was installed in the customer production environment.
